I know this is another review of TIOP, but its on youtube and it belongs in the links section...

2 things...

1, your entilted to your own opinion I give you that, but he doesn't even review all the songs, just makes some stupid remarks on some of them and doesn't even talk about them.

2. If he is the hardcore Staind fan that he claims to be.....look at the picture at 7:00. I sure don't remember that tattoo that Aaron has...

Just another thing, at the end, he says its "not something that he would go out of his way to buy...." If your a fan, you buy the album to support the band, not be a fuckface and download it....

ok now that I listen to what he had to say, he does have some good points in his review.

he still compares songs from older albums that don't even compare at all. And at 6:58 he has a picture of Chester from LP...He prob thought that was aaron lewis...

Ill agree i don't think this album is amazing, but a 'hardcore" staind fan would still support it.. He obv isn't a hardcore fan

Who the hell does this guy think he is? I could only watch up to about 5 mins, his reviews and references of the songs are way off! When the hell does Aaron try to be a country singer in Tangled up in you? It's the background music dumbass and the overall sound, never once does Aaron sing like a country singer. He's a typical hater fan that just got so used to and accustomed to Hard Core/ Metal Staind. He in my opinion is the sell out and the dissappointment. Every song on TIOP is very different as you all know so I will just stop with this comment. Just pissed that someone would do this when they have no fucking right to.

I must come out and say though, so far, not blown away by TIOP.

Good, not great is my short review.

My mind could definitely change, but Chapter V was def. a stronger record out of the gates.

No, I have no problem with the fact that he didn't like it. I just did not like the way he approached it. I don't want to start a war on "everyone is entitled to their own opinion" beceause they sure are. But everyone, no matter who they are, are critics.

Hell, you can be a critic to me saying the stuff I did...

And Lisa, no problem on moving it over...: )

well said, but what really chaps everyone's hide is THE WAY someone goes about criticizing the band. You can review it and be tactful in the process. True, not everyone is going to like everything, but don't base anything on generalizations.

i dont mind other people have different taste. if you watched his video though you would know he is a "HARDCORE" staind fan. So he does have the same taste we do.. And he doesnt give a good review. Some bad reviews still are done well.. this kids facts were all fucked up..

in my opinion TIOP is one of there best albums to date regardless of it being heavy or not. its obvious that the guys really challenged themselves to create something new this time and they've totally done it. would we all really be happy if they just produced another chapter v or BTC? you'd get bored of it quickly. mikes solos on this album are awesome and a welcome return. the band rocks on this record and for me they've exceeded my expectations. rock on staind!!!!!

i dont know if this is the right thread for this, but anyone who knows me knows i've never been able to pick ONE staind record that stands above another.

now i don't know if it's just because it's still new... that's what i was thinking a couple weeks ago.... but for the first time ever, i think i can say I like TIOP more than at least one other album. now, i don't know which album i like it more than hahaha. but lets take this one step at a time.

i just fucking love this CD. LOVE IT.

Me too man I just love it and can't get enough of it. I'm loving Mike solo work the most I think. It's such a good mix of songs and I don't care what anyone else says, I just love it.
