I think that they may have hung around Nickelback for far too long. First off Believe is a good song, but it sounds like a b side from Right Here. They are pulling the same shit Nickelback does. I think Believe will do good on the radio and help sell records I just wish that they'd put up a heavier song from the cd on their site for the fans. All I Want sounds like it's in the same vein as Believe as well. Hopefully the cd will bring back their BTC sound along with the ballads.

BTW I am not bashing them I see how it makes sense to release the song. (Sevendust should do the same with The Past) I'm just hoping that the rest of the album has a bit more variety.

im thinking that there doing this cause they want that big break (a music award) u have to have songs that play on the radio to make it popular or something maby thats why the sound of there music is this way, the big music award is way over due i mean nothing sounds bad to me when it comes to staind i like pretty much everything

Record Company = = Radio Friendly

Give the label what they want (one radio friendly hit) and then leave the rest of the album for the fans. Personally, I can't wait to hear some harpsichord on this album.

I can't believe they took out the entire 8 minute triangle solo from the song Rainy Day Parade. That's what made it sooo Toolesque.

i guess you just need that one RADIO hit to draw many of the average fans in. when it comes down to it,its pretty smart..but then again old true fans hear it and complain its too soft, so they dont buy the new album... O well

real "old true fans" still buy the album. im one of the few who had dysfunction before btc. i listened to it daily. way before outside acoustic was released. all these old school fans are retarded. its been 10 years. get over it.

I remember having outside and it's been awhile before BTC and I thought it was awesome that they made it to an album finally after all those years. Surprised they didn't do the same with Excess Baggage, you know a better quality version of it, but oh well can't have everything.
