When Chris plays AND sings them w/him, definitely "Brother" and "Garden" are two of my favorites.
Two others that REALLY stand out are Bad Company's "Ready For Love" and "Feel Like Making Love," as well as his teases of Neil Diamond's "Love on the Rocks" and Billy Joel's "Piano Man" (those two songs were MADE for his voice!!!). As for Aaron/Staind songs, when he sings "Fill Me Up" solo, no matter how many times I hear it, I get chills at the end! OMG, there's just so many. I know so many others will come to mind after I post this! Like I just thought of his doing the Inigo Girls' "Closer to Fine." Oh, yeah! BUT, it is by FAR best when Chris plays AND sings it w/him. And, although I love the Bluesy version, I may like the jazzy one better. I'm not sure...I LOVE them both!!! The reason I made this post is cause I was a little down last night with everything that's going on in my life, and I played about 30 videos on youtube of Aaron lewis playing acoustic and it put me at ease, and I wanted to know what all you guys thought to.
