if by "stay strong" you mean replicate the previous album, than yeah....disturbed is great.

I'll admit I've had my doubt about the boys, but ya gotta realize, they grow as musicians unlike Disturbed who make the same chug riff wanna-bee-pop-nu-metal.. Staind might be going abit soft, but atleast they still make great albums! it sheltered me from nothing but the weather, I called it home for a moment of my life, this place I see just doesn't look familliar, I wonder if it looks the same inside.... |

All Im gonna say is that Staind has mature and grown over the past 10 Years or more . They're now Fathers and Husbands now and who wants some Heavy depressing shit all the time?. whatever music they play I'm still gonna like the band regardless heavy or not. Some people need to grow up!

see i could talk to somebody like you. you make really good point. and i respect that its the samething i've been telling myself since 14 shades i'm tired of it theres a reason there nothing more thin an opening band for lollypop bands now. thay where metel gods. now thay open for 3 doors down. you people think me trashing there music (WEAK)means i'm not a real fan. i think ya'll are pop chasers for suporting them ditroying there place in metel history. look at the facts. every album since btc as declined in sells whats that about? O yeah and disturbed still headlines all of there shows and sells more albums too. and BELIEVE i hate that. i dont even think the band members read this stuff tbh, but it think what would be best for you to do is look at Staind not as one whole band...but as 2 different bands. Because their material has changed pretty drastically over the decade, it should be completely necessary for there to be 2 Staind(s):
Tormented/Dysfunction Staind & Ballad/softer Staind whether you want to buy the new records or just wanna sit around bitchin about how Staind sold out or whatever...its all good, because everyones gonna have their own opinions __________________ "So hear me now boy Stay alive 'cause that's the way it should go Would your maker have opened your eyes If he'd preferred them closed?" |
