I found a video of a song 'Tangled Up in You', which according to Amazon and iTunes... is a song from the new album.
ETA: The brilliant Lisa has informed me that the song is on the new album, is acoustic, and only Aaron. My fiance and I have been hoping for a mastered version by the end of september so we could use it as our wedding song. We love staind and wanted to bring their music into our special day in some way, and finally, this is it!! |

I saw Staind last night at Hershey. Even the old, angsty songs feel 'soft'. Aaron simply just does not feel that way anymore, which is a good thing for him I guess. For me, it is as if I've grown with him. I felt similarly when he sang on Break the Cycle, then got a little better with 14 Shades of Grey, Chapter V, etc. He's grown and I've grown too. Of course, it's not the same and it's not heavy, whatever, but he can't stay upset and pissed off forever. Besides, he's exploring other avenues of music besides what they're known for. Nothing wrong with that.
