I've been reading through the board quite a bit a it looks like a lot of you had the opportunity to meet them for the radio station tour. I noticed a lot of you had said that you took pics with them also so I figured instead of posting your pics each on an individual thread you can all post them here. You can tell us who you are and happened and post your pics at the end of your statement.

Ok, so here goes...These are the pics from when I and my boyfriend got to meet Aaron and Mike at Chicago Recording Company on May 5th, 2005 ( I won the contest for 94.7 The Zone-Chicago and got to bring my boyfriend as my guest)We drove just under 2 hours (because of traffic on Michigan St.) ...It was awesome as hell once we got to the recording studio itself once we got there , because we were in the prescence of greatness because of all the famous bands and singers that have recorded there (Smashing Pumpkins and Disturbed and quite a few others I like). So anyway, The crew from 94.7 the zone was there, they had to verify that I was one of the contest winners (there were about 25 or so of us lucky winners that showed up, give or take... I'm guessing). After they checked us in, they handed us promo pics of the band and they ushered us into studio 4 which was right by where we came in, and we all sat down and waited for Aaron and Mike to Come out of the Green Room, and take thier places. My boyfriend and I unfortunately didn't get a seat, we had to kinda stand in back, seems everyone else had seats but us, kinda pissed me off considering I'm still healing from a severe ankle injury I suffered Last Novemeber and still have pain from it once in awhile, oh well but I'm not complaining. So anyway "Sludge" and Brian "the Whipping Boy" started out the preview party by interviewing Aaron and Mike, then Aaron and Mike performed thier first song (So Far Away) then they moved onto the second song (Outside) then they answered our questions, I wanted to ask some questions, but didn't, because of my occasional shyness and low self esteem issues I've delt with all my life because of a lot of stuff that's happened to me!! I'm really hopeing that Aaron and Mike will get the chance to see these pics also and get in contact with me (I'd really love to get backstage passes for the July 22nd show at Tweeter Center (tinley park, IL), so I can have the opportunity to talk with Aaron and Mike about how they influenced me not to give up through thier music and also ask the questions I meant to ask) *Crosses Fingers with a tiny glimmer of hope on an otherwise dark day*... hey Johhny "old School", if u're reading this thread, can U pass on a message to Aaron and Mike for me and see if they will get back in contact with me or possibly give me backstage passes for that July 22nd show at Tweeter Center (tinley park)? Pretty please?....it's totally up to them, and I will understand if they choose not to get in contact with me. So anyway I wanted to let them both also know that my boyfriend and I enjoyed meeting them and also that my best friend Brandy really loved the autographed picture Aaron autographed for her. My pics they autographed are framed. I'm kicking myself in the pants right now cause I failed to ask Aaron the questions I wanted to....So anyway, the past remains just that, I can't go back to last week and ask those questions, I can only look forward to possibly still havign yet another chance to meet them at Tweeter Center and ask them the questions then. you see, I'm an aspiring singer/song writter/poet and hopefully one day I'll even get together a band and start fufilling my dreams, and I can look back at the opportunity I had to once meet Aaron Lewis and Mike Mushok and smile and realize the influence just meeting them had on pushing me forward, never to look back. anyway, here are the pics.

Grrrrrr! It figures I used the wrong code... let me try this again... lol.... *crosses her fingers in eager anticipation* I also noticed I failed to mention that they played the 4 songs off the new cd for us while they were walking around meeting all of us and signing autographs and taking pics with us.
