if you have aaron rodgers, who's played about 30 minutes of competitive football in the league, and your year starts with horrible offensive numbers, and your 0-2, 1-2, 1-3....whatever, it's reasonable to bench him if Brett came back. there's no way you could leave him on the field if favre was willing to come back and play. NO WAY.

yeah, that's definitely a good question that i can't even answer. you can go both ways.

YES - because its brett favre, one of the all-time greatest quarterbacks. he proved last year that he is still an elite QB in this league, and can lead his team to a big stage.

NO - because they just need to let him go. he's retired, he decided to leave, so now he's gone. move on with it. give aaron rodgers, your first round draft pick from 3 years ago (actually was projected to go top 5 by many), a chance to begin a new legacy at Lambeau.

tbh, if hes sayd he's retired, thats it, if they want to make room for him if he ever wants to come back, they couldnt, look how much he was paid, so you think GB can pay that AGAIN, afterall, they are using that extra cap to get rookies in

4 is being retired, his locker has been taken away, his legacy remains, but although he says he can still play, he needs to know that time is up
