and I was really really really sad at how it ended. No getting around that Cotto completely outboxed Margarito. Both fighters deserved the victory, but margarito was just too tough..haha

True....but in the 8th he was still in it, considering he won the 9th round. But what just pisses me off is that I feel that Cotto just quit. He didn't even try to make it all the way, he kneeled twice in the 11th and the ref fuckin called it. He didn't even get lagimately knocked down, he kneeled under his won fuckin power. I want a rematch! We need a fuckin rematch.

did you see how badly cotto was fucked up in the 10th and 11th...i seriously doubt he could have made it through the 11th or 12th. IMO (and i was cheering for Cotto the entire fight) i think he made a good decision. He was just plain defeated after the 10th. Cotto was giving it his all, and margarito just kept pushing forward. If you've ever had a chance to see Margarito fight, thats just how he does it. He can take the biggest punches, but he'll just keep pressing forward. Margarito also gets better as the fight progresses, he builds up his strength as the fight goes on...instead of losing it. I think Cottos chance for victory was the first 6-8 rounds, but after that..he started to lose steam and his ability to defend himself went down too much.



we'll see what happens with Oscar next hahaha

I won't pay to see anymore Oscar fights, i'm done with him. Margarito will fucking kill him, absolutely annihilate him. It was an awesome fight, definitely worth it, unlike alot a fights you pay for and they suck...but this one was worth it, so I guess there ain't alot a room for complaining much. I'm seriously expecting a rematch though. If they're smart, they'll do a rematch.

OMG i just seen this thread and well i didn't plan on seeing the fight cuz i didn't know there was a fight....anyways....i ended up seeing it and man was it a good fucken fight!!

watching the fight i thought for sure Cotto was gonna win (and we were all cheering for Margarito [Tijuana]) but the thing of it was, was that Margarito took the punches better than Cotto....when they replayed the clips you can see how hard Cotto would hit Margarito....but it seemed like it didn't phase Margarito.....but as for Cotto his face was fucked up....blood everywhere....

and you heard what Margarito said about Oscar...and i quote "If he comes through with his promises, we can give Mexicans a true battle." Yeah this Mexican wants to see that battle ...and yes Rodz you are right Margarito will kill him! and i will pay to see that fight, if it ever happens.

all in all, it was a great fucken fight!

That's all you...I guess if I was rich I'd do it to just to have an excuse to invite friends over and drink...the night of the Cotto fight I got fucked up...especially after Cotto lost...I started drinking hard fuckin core cuz I was pissed. Oh yeah.
