Ok my computer isnt that bad. Ive had it since 2005. Its a really nice computer, but one my Virus security crap ran out i didnt really care.. Well i got that stupid worm trogan thing that wont even let you do anything when your computer starts. then it automatically shuts down after like 2 minutes. Well I had to erase everything from my computer!!!
It wasn't that big of a deal but i just realized i lost Photoshop!! And i never had the disc. I had a bootleg of CS2!. O well.. It sucks now i don't want to buy the new one.!! The lesson here is dont get a virus!! lol  |

Hate to tell you bro but it's only going to get worse! I had the same problem with a trojan like that, and eventually I couldn't even start up my computer. They had to totally delete my hard drive like you did, and no problems I just hope you did everything right cause if not it will just reocur good luck!!!!!

I've never had a virus and I use the free version of AVG. Its not bad but I just don't want to pay for something that the anti-virus people put out there so we have to buy their anti-virus software.

yea i downloaded the free AVG thing.. Once my stuff from 05 expired i didnt care. And NO its not the porn lol! i have limewire and torrents open also.. I went to a Dell Chat with an IT guy or what ever and i had to do CTRL ATLt F11 when the computer started.. and it erased everything.. Its deff gone.. but sucks i lost every single thing.. all my college work, photoshop lol.. I saved all my music to an External drive though, and my pics!!! Wheewww!!! Edit- i kinda believe they push all the anti virus crap to make money, you have to update it and shit.. I didnt have anything for 2 years and i did fine lol.. |

yeah H......yours has been downgraded to a 30 lb. paperweight eh......we need to do a reformat now too thanks to the 14 yearold....he shut it down the other nite when we came home...now it wont start or do anything..... damn porn sites.....I gave him a hard time about having a hard time in front of my computer........lol
