it was too long.. still a kickass movie though.. heath ledger did great.. so sad he passed away.. great actor..

I saw it the day it came out. What a great movie! It made me question a lot of things at the end of the movie. Especially like, where do we go from here? But one thing that really stood out in my mind was the realism of the movie. Ok, besides the fact that there is a gliding bat with a nifty utility belt fighting crime (cause that almost never happens in real life...oh wait, I don't know like in NY so I wouldn't know if that was possible...I digress) but how cartoony it made the other Batman series look in general. Granted it was the late 80's and early 90's film making, but they went about the whole thing wrong. I look at Batman Forever and it' all so cheap and cheesy almost. Even the first one with Jack Nicholson leaves something to be desired now and don't even get me started on Batman Returns (which should be thrown in the trash and stricken from the record FOREVER!!). This series is so much better and I can better identify with the characters and the somewhat realism that is presented to me during this storytelling.

finally seen it...yes i know i'm late...but it was an intense movie....Heath was great
