although i am a huge eagles fan i am definitely not the sports freak that some are. i would rather see a different team win the superbowl, world series, etc every year than the same teams over and over. i hated the bulls, cowboys, etc. when they were unbeatable. i am an underdog kinda guy. i grew up a patriots fan, hate the giants cause theyre in my division, but loved watching them win the superbowl. to me, them winning that one was more impressive and satisfying than all the championships ne has won. thats just me.

^exactly - the only dynasty i've ever liked was the Bulls, but I still liked the Hornets more. And the Giants winning that SB this year made all of us who lost to NE in the SB feel so much better. In a way, the G-men won it for all of us.

there truly is no salary cap in the NFL either......they just hide the pay in incentives for winning championships.... ie...we'll pay ya 1 million for the year, but if we win the SB you will make 35 million in incentives......and everyone stays under the cap.....and if ya remember correctly, the Marlins just won the WS not too long ago....then they had to release all their high paid players like Sheffield and Kevin Brown....so when ya think of it, any team can buy a championship......except the shitty ass Dolphins and the Panthers......lol.....

I agree w/you, Flaffy. Yes, Tony's 100% correct in that many players have dreamed of being a Yankee (or, even a Red Sock) all their lives, and would still choose to be one, despite a salary cap. But, how many really would, if they could get millions more from the Marlins, especially if the Marlins were up to par and had more money?

Yeah, many still may not take an offer from the Sox due to the rivalry, but I bet they would from another team, if other teams were on a more level playing field (no pun intended lol).

And, if the other teams had a fighting chance monetarilly, wouldn't some (those that grew up in other teams' states) feel similar about said teams? Sure, other teams don't have the history and pull nation-wide as the Yanks and Sox (basically the only 2 teams that people ever prefer over their own states' teams). And, that will never COMPLETELY change, w/all the history, but it can be lessoned w/other teams getting the chance to build that kind of pride, etc, which I don't see there ever getting that possibility w/out a salary cap.

It looks like it is pretty much sold out...RazorGator has some decent tix from 200 - 300 a piece for decent seats.....nose bleeds are going for 100 and up......Nothing much on Ebay yet.......let me know what ya wanna spend, me personally, I would'nt hesitate to spend 250 a ticket for a decent seat.....lemme know bro.....I'll get 2 of em.....hell I could almost buy season tix in the nose bleeds for 600 a piece, and just sell the rest....but I really dont wanna sit in the nose bleeds......
The only other option is to buy them right outside the stadium the night of the game....you can usually score em for face value then, but it's monday night football...ya never know.....

I bought MNF tickets outside the stadium a couple years ago vs. Green Bay, and paid a shit ton.

We can probably land lower level seats for ~75 bucks once they go on sale to the public, we just gotta get them the minute they go on sale.

Yeah, like i said they normally go on sale in July. Even the nose bleeds aren't terrible seats though, there's not really a "bad" seat in BoA stadium. Especially with the big ass new jumbo screens they put in!
