I dunno if this is old news or anything, but I was reading through the new Rolling Stone and saw this article and figured I'd put it up since some people were talking about it a long time ago:

"The merger of Sirius and XM received FCC approval on July 25th, overcoming the final hurdle for a deal that will combine the two satellite-radio companies into a single operator with 18 million subscribers. The broadcasters agreed to several FCC conditions, including varied pricing plans, a three year cap on price increases and committing eight percent of their channel capacity for minority and noncommercial programming."
