what is so super about "super size"?

I mean comon, you spend like an exra $1 to get leik 15% more of your food and drink, and you wont finish it all caus your already full from the other amount of food and drink you hae, so unless your fat, you've basicly wasted $1, no?

i barely ever eat mcdonalds, but sometimes at other restaraunts ill get the "King size" or whatever. i mean sometimes you're just really hungry. and stoned.

yep thats it. its for the stoners. but watch out because afterwards they might hit your 4 year old on their bike or possibly date rape you.

i'll admit, i not a propper eater, before I went out with my gf ovr 2 years ago, I ate at the D, and when I started with my GF, she wasnt happy with me, so she showed me supersize me, and wow

its fucking unreal, but it put me off going there again, in fact over the last 2 years, I thinkIve only been there leik 4 times

what realy shocked me was the french women who was on holliday in the USA, she said that an american small drink at the D is the size of a euro XL!

I know you guys like going big, but thats too far

Although I could be wrong, I think she's exaggerating. Our small now is the size of what used to be the regular. What use to be our small is now a kiddie size. So, we upped our sizes by one. Thus, our large is what use to be our extra large, etc.

And, no, Flaffy, it's not just for stoners, it's also for those of us that love to eat lol. I try to never eat fast food, since it doesn't sit well w/me and is so bad for you, but I CAN put it away as good as the next fat-@$$ed American! lol

To get back to the question..........there is nothing super about super-sizing an already over-sized meal.....it's just that we've become a bunch of fat bastards here in the US for the most part......and it aint just fast food....every eatery seems to have increased there meal size......anywhere you go you can take half of what ya get, and easily feed another person......the original fast food hamburger used to be 1 and a 1/2 ounces.......now it seems like 1/2 a lb is the norm.......well I no longer patronize these grease pits.....not good for the ticker....and I've found a much healthier way to eat and live.....after all....ya cant beat a good salad......

no doubt, whenever i'm out i NEVER get a burger less than a 1/2 pound.

salads are good - but thats too much shit to buy....lettuce, dressing, veggies, etc.... then you gotta mix it all up.....booooo.

BGs? Idk that one lol. I'm guessing it's close, though. I always had a problem w/that crap (pun intended), having to go to the bathroom w/in 15 minutes after eating it. Now, it messes w/my Crohn's disease. The week after AC I ate it 2 days in a row, w/all the road tripping to HURT shows and seeing Adina, Lisa, et al, and I was really sick for a good week.
