Hello, I have been a long time fan of MatchBox 20 and Rob Thomas, so when I found this foundation needless to say I was excited. I commend them for the work they do for needy people and pets. I have been trying to get some type of help for a project I'm trying to get off the ground. It comes from a personal experience I had. My daughter, who is 17, is mentally challenged and I sometimes have to use our rural transportation system. The system takes advantage of disabled and elderly people. My husband and I are able to take care of our daughter and her needs, and fight for her rights, but there are so many more who don't have anyone to help them. I am trying to find a way to be their voice. I just don't know where or how to begin. Any suggestions? Just a little note, we live about 45 minutes from Austin,TX. It's the small communities around the area in which I want to help.
