Many of you wonderful people who follow us have already heard the news of our beloved Tyler; but just in case someone new or someone who doesn't follow Rob Thomas' forum, I am posting this as well. Our precious Tyler has developed a very aggressive form of cancer. There is no cure and he probably has 4-6 months left with us. Our pets, we also have Samy and Calvin our cat, mean the world to us. So it is with much pain that I post this now. This is a hard time for the Thomas/Maldonado families. We thank you for your concerns and we ask that you send good thoughts our way for Tyler and of course your prayers are so appreciated. Thank you for you love and as always your support. I am so sorry. It's absolutely heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, and my heart is with you and your family now. Savor each moment with Tyler (as well as Samy and Calvin), and I hope you find comfort in knowing how happy you made that sweet little dog when you took him into your home.

i posted in the twitter thread about how i feel. i didn't see this one yet. but i will show you pics of our furry family members. here goes:
this is jasmine. pure bred sheltie.

this is oreo. she was rescued from a shelter. she doesn't live with us. she is in michigan with my roomy's daughter.

one of the newest members:

this is shadow. she came to us from a "friend", riddled with fleas. but with the help of a good friend who had shampoo from the vets, we got rid of them all. she is much happier, healthier, and more playful. she's a very loving little kitten. she adopted me as her mother. she learned the use of the litter box in the first day here. and she's captured my heart.

princess. she's become quite the jealous little thing. and begger. jasmine started all that. but princess loves belly rubs. and she sleeps by me. shadow does too, when i fall asleep before putting her in her kennel. but anyway, here comes princess. the newest member.
