Hi Everyone, I've received an outpouring of emails from wonderful people who want to help and want to try to make a difference the right way. The best way to try and help save Carrie and Baxter, is to write or call Justice Joseph Rechen and implore him to reconsider his decision. I located the following information online for Judge Rechen from the Renasselar County 2008 Officials and Services Directory. The number Marisol kindly provided is a fax number for the town of Berlin, per this directory. Joseph A. Rechen P.O. Box 102 Cherry Plains, NY 12040 518-658-2526 The link for the directory is: http://www.rensselaercounty.org/2008%20Officials%20and%...%20for%20Website.pdf I'm guessing the telephone number above might be his direct line (or a direct fax), so be careful using it since the last thing we want to do is piss the Judge off, we just need him to do the right thing for these beautiful horses. Sorry I stumbled across your website too late, my only hope is that these beautiful horses have not been returned to the hellhole that they have come from. I am kicking myself for not finding out about your wonderful organisation sooner. (No offence Marisol, but I didn't realise that you and Rob were doing this or I would of supported you guys sooner).
What ticks me off the most about this story is the fact that she wants them back, after all she's done to them. I'm not sure how I can help you guys, but please know that I will try to help in any way I can. (It's the least I can do, Rob's music has helped me in so many bad times of my life, so to be able to give something back would be great). |
