Breaking Benjamins show in Atlanta tonight was cancelled after the 2 opening bands played.... our radio station said that the early reports were that Ben was "extremely" sick and that he had to be taken to the hospital. there is a special edition of Shallow Bay Radio tomorrow night at 10 pm est. with news regarding the band. I hope everything is alright, but Red and Sick Puppies kicked ass.

Damn... that sucks. Have you seen them before? I've seen them a few times now and they're pretty good live.

yeah, ive seen them once and it was AMAZING. there is all sorts of crazy rumors flying around, one of which says the band is breaking up. I personally think that Ben is very sick and cant play. their internet radio station has a special show tonight so hopefully they shed some light on what is going on.

I've heard they are breaking up....something about the singer leaving.

ok here is what was said: runner of Shallowbay.com said that Ben just wanted to go home because he was stressed out as much as he could take. Drummer said he also had a problem with his vocal chords that if he sang he could have blown them and ended his career. nothing, as far as i know of, indicated that they were breaking up. who knows though, maybe the stress finally could take its toll on ben and maybe he will quit. i hope not as they are one of my favorite bands.

well hopefully he'll get better and i'll get the chance to see them one day

They canceled my myrtle beach show.

i was with ben last month and he was stressed then, he said that the record company was already breathing down his neck to get another record out and he didn't feel like they were done touring phobia yet, so who knows, but he was very, very stressed even a month ago

record companies can be a bitch... well they pretty much are all the time. i hope they rebound from this because they are a great band and i would love to hear more from them.

you and me both, but you know that they still don't technically have a drummer they have had chad on tour with them for like two years i think but he isn't officially in the band

no he is in the band, he was the one that recorded on Phobia. and last night he made some comment about some guy throwing Saturate and WANA at him and he said he wishes they would have thrown Phobia at him because he was actually on that one. if they call it quits i will be sad... their is supposed to be a tour with Seether, BB, and 3DG this october.

no i don't him personally or anythign but yes he was on phobia and he told me that but he also said he isn't a member of the band, they never asked him to be so he is just a hired drummer still at this point, his words not just me saying that
