OOh I'm getting excited just had to tell someone, the sturgis rally is as close as south dakota gets to a rock fest, it runs from Aug. 1st-15th. There's going to be some great bands playing such as: Alice in Chains(Maynard from Tool singing), Buck cherry, Alice Cooper, Skynard and much more! Although i wish Shinedown was going to be there. I got to see them a month a go and im allready going through withdraws. An icky part of all this is the tickets cost between $45-$65 per day, you get two shows for that. Im gonna have to pick and choose.

i wanna go to sturgis this year for the main reason to see alice in chains but i cant afford it. hopfully they will come to kc to play sometime. and maynard singing for them is just a plus.

yeah, SD played Sturgis last year, and the year before i think...I had tix forlast year, but never was able to get there.

My dad just bought a 1960 Panhead. Im pretty sure he plans to make it out there...and yes, Im jealous.

Liv, I promise, you DO NOT want to go to sturgis w/ you pops! I am sure your dad is cool and all, cuz I have seen him with you at shows, but sturgis is something you need to experience with out parental units if at all possible. **Wait til you get your license and take a car (complete with the SD license plate your dad got you) full of your friends** Then go again when you are 21. It's finally here, the Black Hills are rumbling with motorcycles, i just love the crazyness. Alice n Chains and Buckcherry are playing on Aug, 11 cant wait!!

Girl you gotta be excited. I've seen Sturgis t-shirts all over the place here for a few weeks plus motorcycles. Bring a camera and post photos!
