So, this past weekend I spent traveling the Carolina's to see Shinedown and they had two opening acts. Tyler Read and Deepfield.
We've obviously already been exposed to deepfield around here but I didn't see anything about Tyler Read.

I was expecting a lame opening act, afterall..it was a band I'd never heard of filling in for what was supposed to be Operator; but Tyler Read came out and they rocked the stage. I got the chance to talk and hang out with them after the show, and on top of it all they're all really sweet guys. A band full of young motivated musicians, with a nice (though somewhat poppish) rock sound.
Give them a listen, if you will, please. =]

...funny story about who I thought Tyler Read was...

...I wanted to see & hear just who Mr. Tyler Read was since I would be seeing him in concert...so I put in his name at Myspace music...and thought he spelled his name Tyler REED...

...and THIS guy is who I thought I was going to have to painfully suffer through...so I made sure that I had some earplugs with me...

...I was pleasantly surprised...and relieved when those boys came out instead... Big Grin

Tyler Read were f'n AWESOME. I bought two copies of their CD (got one signed); haven't had a chance to give it a good listen yet but I've no doubts it'll rock. And they're all incredibly nice guys to boot. Can't really beat that.
