ok after hearing Invincible, i was a bit disappointed and hoped that the new cd would pick up for it. however ive had a chance to hear the new cd in its entirety, and i must say that i am very disappointed. it just doesnt have the Crossfade feel to it in my opinion. i like maybe 3 songs off the entire cd, but the rest is a let down. now with saying that, ed's voice is still good, just sounds REALLY different, but on some songs he tries to pull off things that his voice cant and it shows sometimes. even though im disappointed in this cd, im still going to buy it when it comes out to support them with hopes of a 3rd album being much like the first ones sound. now all of this is my opinion, some of you may love the new cd and thats awesome, i respect that but it just didnt click for me but maybe the more i listen to it when it, it will grow on me. i hope so.

Well, I hope it grows on you. But I'm just glad that the rapper's out of the band. lol My sister spent $25 on their first cd because she thought it wasn't sold in stores and the next day she went to Walmart and they had it there for $10. Do you know when the new cd is released?
yes the cd is supposed to come out Aug. 29th, and im seeing them in sept. with staind, breaking benjamin, black stone cherry, and hinder. but like i said i hope it grows on me,

how did you hear the entire cd before it came out?
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. So we shall flow a river forth unto thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris Et Filii Et Spiritus Sancti.
I'm sorry that you feel that way about the new CD "Falling Away". Personally I love it!
People are gonna compare the 2 that is only natural. However, the new disk is steps above the self titled. The band everyone knows as Crossfade has finally put out thier CD! This is what I have been waiting for! Proof that my brothers can rock the hell out of everything! I've watched this band since they basically started out on the road and have seen them grow and change with no complaints. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make things work out even with no real notice of a band members departure. I would say that speaks volumes about the people they are right there. This new disk is full of songs about changing and figuring out things about one's self. It's melodic and shows a real grown up side to the boys. There are many songs on this disk that everyone can find something in a song to relate to or something they might have gone through themselves. While still holding that sound that we all know as CROSSFADE! By the way...as for Ed's voice changing... You should be aware that Ed is not the only singer in the band. Eddie and Mitch share a lot of the vocal work on this disk which I am VERY proud of. The harmonies are still there! I think Ed's voice is fine just the way it is. It's pure Crossfade through and through. If you were hoping to hear more songs like "disco" then you are dissapointed. Did I mention I love this CD?!
I'm highly biased.
And Zach it has been leaked out on the net. But I got a sneak peek from the band and got an advanced copy that hasn't left my CD player yet.
The eyes are the windows to the soul and I see yours clearly!

Ya i really thought this cd sucked to be honest with you. The first cd was ok, this cd just doesnt have it, imo.
