You know, I always wondered why 3DG unlike other modern rock bands didn't have mid-tempo songs, or ballads on their albums.
Well... seeing how boring or even annoying No More, Last To Know and Without You are, I think it would've been a good idea to put out another straight hard rocking album.

Good thing BBs new one is coming out next week, I think I'll get sick of Life Starts Now pretty fast.
It's not a bad album, it's just
a)below expectations
b)below average
c)lacking great melodies, heavy riffs, meaningful lyrics (good thing we have a certain other band for that )

That's funny you say that because I think Wake Up from the debut is one of the best songs 3DG has ever made and I think that would fall into the "ballad" category...kinda like how 45 somehow falls into a ballad category.

Wake Up? Naah, I wouldn't consider that a ballad. The chorus is too pumping for it to be a ballad. On their debut, every song rocked... though I missed variety on there. Guess I'm never happy
