Anybody else pumped to hear some new stuff from these guys? They're probably my 3rd favorite band right behind Seether.

I've been waiting for the follow-up to Phobia for years, wasn't it 2006 that it came out?
Any ideas on when the new one is due to drop? It's about high time they get something out there.
While not in my top 3, BB definitely is iin my top ten Smiler

Ya, Phobia was released in 2006. They haven't said anything about when the new album is supposed to be out, but they just announced that they just entered the studio. I would imagine a late 2009/early 2010 release. Have you seen them live?

I suppose that's good news then, thanks.

Never seen them live, since Ben's afraid of flying they've never made it to Europe sadly...

They've finished a single called I Will Not Bow which will be featured in a new Bruce Willis movie. Yeah, BB is another of my favorite bands. Smiler

It's all that I can say. So I'll be on my way.

But "Dear Agony"? I dare say that sounds just a tad emo...

Sweet! I can't wait to hear this. I'm sure we wont be disappointed. I don't really care for the title either, but as long as the album is amazing, it doesn't matter. This is definitely my most aniticipated album, that is until a little band named Shinedown releases their next one Big Grin.

I Will Not Bow is streamed on their myspace. Go and have a listen.

I, personally, am a little disappointed in the track. I am still going to buy Dear Agony, as Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorite bands. But with that I expected a little more, maybe its just me but judging by this song they aren't going for an evolution of their sound and just going to play the same way. To me, I Will Not Bow sounds like an average Breaking Benjamin song, yet its the lead single, not as strong a start as Polyamourous, So Cold, and Diary of Jane were.

The more I listen to it, the more I like it. And I've listened to it like 10 times in a row today, so I'm close to loving it Smiler
It has the Breaking Benjamin sound, I agree. There's no fundamental new sound. But there's some interesting rhythm/drum things (especially the breaks in the last chorus), and a nice guitar solo... And as always with BB a catchy-as-hell chorus, that makes me want to sing out loud "I will not BOW, I will not BREAK"...

So yeah, I quite like it.

I love it too. I'm glad he does the Ben scream/growl in it. Big Grin I hear there's going to be a 6 week headlining tour in September/October. Makes me glad I live close to PA...
