@Peyton - Thanks so much for the praise of Tantric and their new album! One of our bestest friends is out on the road with them right now, and he's especially tickled to have a "Thank You" on the album sleeve from Richie!

"Mind Control" is terrific - I'm with you on that one, 100%!

I'll make it easy on ya - it's Dustin Twoshoes. Or something like that anyway. He's a drumtech/guitartech/stage & tour manager - you name it, he does the f*ck out of it! Quality work, and in demand.

I love when bands use non-traditional instruments to make killer rock music. Case in perfect point: Marcus Ratzen..whatever, on violin! The End Begins was so good, every song on there was great!

The new album is hitting me square in the teeth the same way! It's getting lots of air time in Seattle - the first single, Mind Control, I mean.

I"m glad to hear they're getting played there.. here. (near ATlanta).. there's hardly a decent rock station left.. project 96.1 is the only one that's not oldies... but it's so weak... i can't get it most days in my truck about 70 miles NE of ATlanta...

the violin just reminds me of Kansas... one of my first two rock loves (styx, grand illusion, and Kansas.. point of know return)

yeah.. I'm old.. but I love rock.. always will I guess....

people don't realize that hugo plays piano (NOBODY I talked to realized he was playing on Mourning.. now he includes keyboards more on the cd's I think)...

and from all I've heard and seen.. Hugo is SUCH a nice guy.. yeah.. he gets drunk and shows his ass sometimes (a girl i know can't stand him because he spilled a drink on her.. big deal..

I really love Tantric! ... a LOT!

This album is really good. I have always been a Tantric fan.... since their debut came out, but I kinda lost touch with them and have now gotten it back.

Sorry, but this album is shit. Hugo ruined the sound on this one. Very little of that tantric vibe that was once there going on on this album.

I am your Serenity in Madness, the embers of your light. I will be there to pick you back up, when you think you've lost the fight...

Meh - I disagree. But hey, we can all enjoy what we enjoy! I like Korn, but Wade's instructor truly believe's they're shitty, and I really respect his opinion on most things music. But, on that one, I can like who I like anyway! Same deal here.

For those who are interested, and are enjoying the new album, the next single will be my favorite, "Coming Undone". Check it out - very catchy!

Coming Undone and Kick back are 2 of my favorites.. but then on the lighter side.. so is 'The Past is the PAst'...

and around here.. there ARE NO DAMN ROCK STATIONS worth a shit... the only 'rock' station there is.. well 2.. maybe.. one in athens ga.. and one in atlanta ga.. mostly just play 'classic' stuff.. nirvana, metallica... etc...

I think they should release 'the past is the past' for the MULTITUDES of lite rock/pop... listen at work stations... and then watch Mind Control EXPLODE!!!

they're just not reaching the audience they could imo...

Weird that I've never heard about this band before.. Anyway, I checked the album out and I must say it's pretty good. I really like the voice!
Musically it's cool too. I just haven't found the one song that makes me fall in love with it - yet.

Talking about violins, you should definitely give HURT a listen Smiler

I've got a simple fear, I think someone will come just to put me away, into a cage, where I never can see the sun

its a shame that these guys let themselves get this low.. When they first came out years ago, they had a edge to make somthing great out of themselves. Now I cant decide who there trying to be.
