I picked up Black Clouds and Silver Linings, it is a great album. "A Nightmare to Remember" is one of the best opening tracks I've ever heard and so far I think its the song of the year. 16 minutes of pure awesome. These guys remind me of Rush a lot (I guess that's on purpose though they are heavily influenced by Rush) and are very talented. Nothing beats some good old prog metal.
You are bring back some old school here man, I haven't listened to Dream Theater since I was in 8th grade, almost forgot about them. Thanks for the memories....
You should give Black Clouds a listen man, the lead single is "A Rite of Passage" if you like that, you'll like the whole album. You can listen to the whole album on their myspace, that's what I did...then felt compelled to buy it.
