I figured some people here would be into us. We're southern rock with a splash of metal. Let me know what you think, good or bad. and this is not just one of those one time posts about my band deal. I'll be back. |

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Some constructive criticism from my part. First off, you guys have a pretty good sound. The songwriting got progressively better through the three songs. I didn't really like the writing on the first one, but the other two were pretty well written. The one thing that really stood out to me though is this: When I think of either metal or southern rock I immediately think of fast, loud, in your face guitar. I didn't get any of that from you guys, which is fine, it's just something that really stuck out IMO. The singer has a decent enough voice, but he seems to constrict his power by singing from his throat when he starts to belt it out. But still, I thought it was a decent listen. I have heard far far worse than that! Just one question though, what in the hell does your name stand for? "For years, the American Public complained that they were not being heard. Well, now we are listening." - Dubya in response to mediafire on unwarranted and illegal phone taps..... |

Well first off thanks for listening! I agree with the songwriting thing. I wrote all the songs and the first one actually was written for a metalcore band I was in and we just kind of took it. Definately not my favourite. We have a couple other songs that are more 'in your face' guitar. These were the first we wrote and recorded and are more rock n' roll influenced. Thanks for the comment though. As for what the band name means it's the River that divided the Hatfields and McCoys in that big feud back in the day. Mostly we just thought it was a sweet name and figured it would get us some attention too. ha. Thanks again. |
