Yes, Floyd's is directly across the street from FSU's fraternity/sorority row and the heart of student party-central, but the students suck, for the most part, and are mostly assholes, and I mostly want to put their cigarettes out in their eyes-but, I don’t cause I keep that look the Preacher gives when we fight always stuck in my mind, keeps me outta jail—thank you, Brent. Basically, they ain’t interested in rock ‘n roll, but they got money and they’ll be plenty of ‘em there (I gotta admit, I do like talking bad about the store-bought girlies, is wicked fun). The peeps that really make Floyd’s a rock-ass mutherfucker is the locals.
I do luff that boy, so I’ll make up some flyers and post ‘em around FSU campus (I’ll be stealing the pix from your blog, Leesa to make flyer outta).
This will be my first time seeing Amaru—really looking forward to it. I’m gonna take my camera to the show; I’ll post the pix.

PS: Lauren and I are planning on making the show at the Bird as well. I'll get up w/u when we get to the beach.

YAY!!!! Cindy went and let me talk B-Rad..my little drunken fucker!!!! Though he was not drunk which was great to hear..lol Thank you again Cindy for that. B-Rad said they wanted to do a mini tour here soon and that Missouri was definitely gonna be one of the stops cause he missed me ..LOL!!!!! But he sounded so happy..I'm so happy for him!!!!

Ive just been informed Melissa & I are hitting the Jax show.

Has anyone heard whether or not Amaru will be shown during the first episode for next american band? Didn't know if anyone had spoken with Brad about it. That would be awesome to see him on there, even if it's just for a minute.

Twas a rockn’ night at Floyds, again. The first band, Sanctioned, sported a female drummer, and not only could she beat the fuck outta them tom toms, she was cute as a blonde-headed, blue-eyed button, and 15; yes I said 15 years old—wowzer! (see pix below)
Amaru put on a most excellent show, was way too short, but they rocked the house in spite of. All the peeps really seemed to like them, and so did Floyd’s management; they got invited back—yippee, can’t wait for that.
Amaru has a more popular type of sound than Shinedown—not near as heavy or deep. Their lyrics are simple and easy to understand and their beat has a very familiar ring to it; I4C that they will be wildly popular very soon, akin to Hinder.
As luck would have it, if you believe in that sorta thing, at the stroke of midnight, Shindownrkr86-Lauren turned 21. When our fav bass plyer found out that she had just turned legal, he yelled, SHOTS! SHOTS! We must have shots! Then it was off to the bar next door for more then, the next bar, for more, then the next. Lemme xplain. Floyds is connected to several other bars along the mainline strip, and u ain’t even gotta go outside to move from place to place, there’s like these tunnels connecting them. Tis where ALL the FSU students go. Fuck, I hate them—they are so rude! And JC, it was so fucking crowded! And the jukebox music? Ick. I fucking hate hip-hop, I swear y’all it sounds xactly like disco to me, which being dark and scary always, I fucking hated. I really wanted spin loose with a machete, but not having one, I behaved. We spent the rest of the night fighting through the sea of drunken, writhing students trying to get up to the bar, and when we weren’t begging for a bartender, we were searching for each other. We lost that boy w/long dreads twice, and Mark (the famous bro, yes the fireman, from I Dare You) kept wandering off. Was a freak show, you know I loved it, but it did take me all day yesterday to recover--I'm blaming the beer, I hate beer.

Yeah LaLa & Crystal will be there. Melissa is going too since she is driving me. LaLa was at the show at the AKA. She is totally different without her buddy there.
