Bobby formly of Burn Season has a new band called Amaru. Our very own Bradass is working on this project with him.

nothing yet. still shopping labels and what not. but i'll keep you posted when they let me know.

for those of you that live in and around jacksonville, fl - bobby amaru will be playing an acoustic set at jack rabbits this friday. he goes on between 9:30-10pm. and the show is only $5!!! can't beat that...

anywho, plans??? YES! they have some big ones now. have you guys seen the advertisements for The Next Great American Band from the producers of American Idol? it's going to be airing on fridays at 8pm during the fall season. i think they said it will be about 10 shows long.
well AMARU took a chance and sent in their stuff. the show got 7,200 entires. the staff knocked that down to the top 100 to send to the producers, etc... who chose the top 30. and you better believe AMARU is in the top 30!!! they're flying to l.a. next week to meet with the show peeps. keep your fingers crossed. i'll keep you guys posted.

Wow, I missed this, yes, how did it go in L.A.?

they didn't make it past l.a. so they won't be on the show. well, unless they show the audition parts the first few days like idol does. they still had fun out there regardless...

i know there are some peeps on here kinda close to jax. like donna... they have a battle of the bands show, on monday, for planetfest 8. it's at jack rabbits. i think it's only $5.

ahh. i wish they were on a full tour but i guess that'll probably be awhile. they rock though!

Barry had told me I'd be seeing Brad in a new band soon, but I hadn't really been paying attention to the forums. then I saw a bulletin put out on myspace by Burn Season and jumped on that.
