Ok, so I didn't see a thread for Live and I thought they should be put on here.
What a great band. I've been listening to them a lot lately. "Lakini's Juice" was my favorite until I heard "Shit Towne". And I must say, they are even better when you see them live. Man, what a great show!
Anyone else like them?

I have one album from years ago. Loved it, still do. The one with I Alone, I believe. Anyway, one of those bands that i've always liked their sound but somehow never think of them when it's cd buying time. =/

LOL...How could you NOT know who they are? They're a great band and have been around for a long time. Chances are, if you like rock, you've probably heard them on the radio. You should check them out!

One of the best bands in the world! I am seeing them for the 17th time on the 21st of this month. My fav band! Can't wait for the new cd. It is going to rock!
I've only had the pleasure of seeing Live live once (just this past August) and MAN what an amazing show.
The new album should be great...I can't wait for it!!

I got hooked on Live in the 90's when the came out with "I alone" This was the first band (until shinedown) that actually sounded just as good on stage as they do on cd. They put on a great show. I am not as into their last cd as the previous two (throwing copper and secret something or other..samadi maybe??) but i would see them live anytime!

It was Secret Samadhi, by the way! And you're right about seeing them Live anytime. They're well worth it!

When I saw them back in August, they actually played a preview of one of the songs off the new album.
It wasn't like the old Live but it still did sound pretty good. Can't wait, too!

once upon a time, long, long ago, there was MTV...when they actually played *gasp* music videos...and i saw Live in their first video...from Mental Jewelry..."pain lies on the riverside..." and i KNEW they would be huge. they were just kids...like 16 or 17...i was blown away!! i still love this band and will till the day i die. their first album Mental Jewelry is perfect. wouldn't change a thing. the vocals, drums...kinda tribal. love it. i highly reccommend listening to the first album before any other. jen? do you concur?
highly concur! Pain lies onthe riverside was and still is a favorite of mine. throwing copper is also wonderful, Pillar of Davidson is so well written........
