No shit, I'll have to pick up the CD. Caught Nonpoint w/Shinedown @ PlanetFest. They were kick-ass, really rocked the house.

I must say I'm really disappointed by Nonpoint's new single. I haven't picked up the new CD yet. I have the previous 2 CDs and really like both of them but the new single just doesn't do anything for me.

Probably because it is older nonpoint again, much more in your face.

I have all of the Nonpoint albums and to be honest, none of them have disappointed me. The newest one goes back to their roots and I LOVE that! They finally have a good band to represent south Florida!!! AND, they kick ass in concert!

I've seen Nonpoint twice and loved them both times..I have their 3 previous CD's and love those..I can't wait to pick up this one. I love the new single can't wait to hear more.

I heard 'Alive and Kicking' is going to be the next single off the album (in my opinion, that's the best song!!)

Just a little trivia.. My kids went to school with them & I saw them with Disturbed, Linkin Park, The Offspring, 3 Doors Down & I forget who else at Bonzai when they were starting out. They definitely rock.

I talked to you about that before. I thought the Buzz would be strong but you and my son informed me it was pretty sucky now.

The music scene in So Fla is SO much stronger than out here though. It's one thing I miss a lot.

I think South Florida's music scene has definitely gotten better. Some pretty good bands are coming out of here...Nonpoint, One, etc. Hopefully we can keep it up! You'll have to come back to Florida soon for the music

And yes, The Buzz has gone to hell (unless you love Matisyahu because that's about all they play! lol) Shinedown gets airtime but not as much as I'd like to see!

As for Nonpoint, I love the fact that they represent us down here in Florida!

A Rare Breed isn't together anymore. They were about that time though. There were some crazy bands then...and now I'm sure.

Do you ever get to the local venues; Metal Factory, etc. to see them? It's an interesting way to see what's coming out. Or so I think.

Don't get to go too much to the local venues. I love The Culture Room, which is such an awesome place to see your favorite band!

I haven't been to Revolution yet, but I finally get to go there to see Nonpoint Saturday.

It's hard to go down there to the local places because I'm up in West Palm.

Loved the Culture Room. Moreso than Metal Factory actually.

Revolution, did that used to be the Chili Pepper back in the mid 90s? If so, I saw NIN there. It was awesome. We were on the balcony over the stage and Trent Reznor was just right THERE! Awesome venue.

Yeah, WPB is a drive and nothing like wonderful 95 traffic to get you there. LOL

Yes, Revolution used to be The Chili Pepper. I'm glad it's a good venue!!
