CANDLEBOX
SUMMER TOUR 2006

For those of you that may or may not have seen us, the original Candlebox lineup (Peter, Bardi, Scott and myself) will be starting a 3 month tour of the United States on the 1st of July 2006. Keep checking here for the cities and dates and spread the word.

Call your local radio stations and let em know that were touring and that you want us to come to your town. Summer festivals, state fairs, house of blues whatever! We want to see you there and you won't want to miss this one!

All the best and see you soon,
Kevin

Or you can check out their Myspace for yourself. Smiler

Too bad Shinedown can't get off the shit tour they're on right now and open for these guys. That'd be a HELL of a show.

Shinedown open for Candlebox? I remember one album (have it, love it) by them that was a hit. Were there more hit albums that I somehow missed? I can't imagine Shinedown would be the opener in that line-up, no way.

I wouldn't mind seeing them together, I just don't think Shinedown would/should be the opener.

Shit line up? This years Sno Core tour lineup is the shiot! Last years was good... only 'cause Strata was apart of it. The year before it was great. But this year is the best though... still sad that Strata couldn't make it 3 years in a row on the Sno Core tour.

I have returned to save everyone from the horrible lack of english, common sense. And most importantly good taste in music. So move on over, 'cause the sexy beast IS back!

New Seether is pure shit, and as much as I wanna support Flyleaf for being from Temple, the chick sounds way too similar to Avril Lavigne.

Have to disagree...new Seether is still damn good. It's not like Disclaimer, but it still rocks.

Flyleaf on the other hand leave something to be desired...in other words they suck. Anyone can get on stage and shreik their head off.

can't wait for this tour. i hope it comes to south fl. i'm sick and tired of having to drive four hours to orlando for shows Frowner
and candlebox had three albums brightstar. there self-titled debut, Lucy, and Happy Pills. Lucy wasn't that great, it was written and recorded in a rush because of the momentum, but Happy Pills was badass. songs like 'Happy Pills' 'Blinders' and '10,000 Horses' were friggin killer. nothing however beats hearing kevin martin sing songs like 'you' and 'change' live though.

Matt: Couldn't have said it better myself! Come to South Florida!! I'm going to the Tampa and Orlando shows and, granted, I don't mind going there to see Shinedown because they're well worth it, but it still sucks having to drive all that way when theres plenty of good places for them to play down here. South Florida would love to see them more often.

Oh well, looks like another road trip! lol Cool

to be honest, for candlebox, if they played down here and orlando, it would be worth driving to both shows because they ALWAYS played different sets every night. i've only road tripped for one band to see them a few nights in a row, and the fact of the matter is, it put a bad taste in my mouth to see the same exact setlist both nights. candlebox however is a different story. i've seen them two nights in a rwo twice and they changed it up both times. i still have two of my recordings of them, good goddamn was kevin fuckin on it.

Matt: Thanks for the info about Candlebox. I'll definitely check them out if they come to Florida. I feel like a loser that I've never seen Candlebox live (and I like them alot!). That's great that they change up the setlist like that!

By the way, are you going to the Tampa Shinedown show? I know it's 2 days before the Orlando date and they'll probably play the same setlist, but it should be a good show (as always).
