Is AFI back in the studio or not?!?!?! im dying here! ive been trying to find out for a month but theres nothing on either of there sites, ugh...

i heard a year or so a go that havoc had throat cancer or something, but no confirm or deny on that rumor either. heeeeellllp!!

I have no idea either. I'm a fan, although I haven't heard any AFI news in quite some time. Hopefully racecardriver will see your post- I think she's a pretty big fan. She probably has the best info .

well im not sure if this is a clue or not but if you go to the AFIt they have a new white page with some new backround music, but no updates. they also have a link to the old site too.

They're in the final stages of mixing - not to mention mastering, recording is pretty much done, now it's on to photo shoots for promotional purposes (let's PRAY Davey dyes his hair completely black again), working on the album cover, interviews, promote promote promote!!!

Rumor on the board is that it's set to drop in early February. As said by Davey. But you give those fans an inch and they'll go a mile. Theories up the yin yang, and the band likes to fuck with the kid by dropping little "clues" to make them work and wonder. Gah! There's a reason I avoid certain forums on that board. I kid you not - go check out the AFI everything section of the official board. You'll see what I mean.

....in case you can't tell, I nearly live on that board and am a huge HUGE fan.
