I LOVE acoustic stuff by Shinedown. The studio acoustic stuff is amazing, as is live recordings. I was just curious if anyone could suggest some other bands that have good acoustic stuff? There's some bands with an acoustic song or two on a CD, but thats about it, and I want more.

You can go to youtube and search "Aaron Lewis" because all of he solo acoustic stuff is amazing. Also, Alter Bridge does some really cool acoustic stuff that can be found on youtube.

Hurt, IMO the best band on the planet, does some of the most amazing acoustic stuff in the world. They always translate their songs to acoustic very well.

Theory of a Deadman's slower stuff (Santa Monica, Wait For Me) is really cool. Cold has done some amazing acoustic songs (Bleed, Wasted Years, A Different Kind of Pain, Ugly). Those are the ones that stand out to me the most.

What a wicked game to play
To make me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do
To make me dream of you

I agree that Hurt is great acoustic--IMHO they are far better as an acoustic act. I saw AIC last year acoustic and they blew me away.

And the new Sister Hazel CD is "unplugged" and terrific!
