the new album is AMAZING. i am beyond amazed at how good it is. i wasnt a big fan of their first album, their second one was ok, but this one.... this one is amazing. it is streaming on muchmusic.com it has a banner on the front page. All or Nothing is one of the best songs i have heard in a long time, lyrically.

I pre-ordered thier new album today..along with Sevendust's new one!!! I can't wait!!!!

I love my TOAD cd's but I have not seen them perform live yet. I just pre-ordered the new one too.

Is it true that Brent is singing on 'So Happy'? I've read that he does guest vocals on the song but I'm not sure I can hear him.

I'm picking the album up on Tuesday. I don't pre-order because I'm paranoid the album won't get here until AFTER release. So I will head up to the fye on April Fools.

I like to pre-order it cause it's usually cheaper and you can get a signed booklet or something with it. The new Theory pre-order comes with a signed booklet at fye.com and I pre-ordered the Sevendust one with my ticket and meet-n-greet pass to their show in St.Louis. Most of the time I could careless if I get it after the release date as long as I get..then again the nearest store to get unedited cds is like 45mins away.

I don't care if it's unedited or edited. Most of my CD's are either unexcplicit or edited because Wal-Mart is 5 minutes away, but alot of them I buy in the mall or order on amazon.

I also pre-ordered from FYE, I refuse to buy edited CDs.

Hey, no one answered my question about Brent Smith. Is he singing in "So Happy"? I can't really tell, which makes me think he is not.

i cant tell either Terry. the only obvious one is Chris Daughtry on By The Way, and thats because there is a part in it where only Chris is singing. i dont think Brent is singing on it.

Yeah, I think his voice would really stand out. I'll check the CD insert when I get it.

Yeah, Brent does hardly anything in the song, he backs Connolly up in the chorus with the higher notes.

Yeah, Brent should have had a little bit bigger role in the song.

Daughtry's everywhere this week, on By The Way and on The Past on Sevendust's new album.

Yeah I can hear him in that part...I definitely hear his accent on a couple of the words.

He is mentioned as singing on that track in the booklet.

I got my cd today!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I love the fact that Tyler's wife helped him write some songs..including 'Bad Girlfriend' lol I love it!!!!! That's one of my faves!!!! I love 'Little Smirk', too!!!! 'Sacrifice' is a good one, also!!!!

Can't wait to see them live again!!!!

Scars and Souvenirs
1. So Happy - 9/10
Downright fun song, and fun songs are TOAD's specialty, I hope it makes Number 1 on the Rock Charts.
2. By the Way - 8.5/10
Nice power ballad, probably the best one on the album.
3. Got It Made - 8.5
Probably my least favorite "Fun" song on the album, probably because it just seems too... Nickelback...
4. Not Meant to Be - 8/10
This is when - in my opinion - the album kinda gets a little weakness. This is the beginning of a LOT of ballads on the album, but it is still good.
5. Crutch - 8.5/10
One of the better spngs on the album, not a ballad.
6. All or Nothing - 8.5/10
Probably the most girly song on the album. And the sad thing is Christine DIDN'T help write this one. Nonetheless, it is still good for it's pop-rock sound.
7. Heaven (Little by Little) - 8/10
Read All or Nothing.
8. Bad Girlfriend - 9.5/10
Haha, so awesome so fun, just a joyride, which makes it probably one of the best on the album.
9. Hate My Life - 8.5/10
A great song for when you feel like crap, just like a song that will do your venting for you.
10. Little Smirk - 10/10
Excellent, just great! Hilarious, fun, free, cheery, and a down right good song. The peak of the album.
11. End of the Summer - 8.5/10
I don't know if you can call this a ballad, but still a little poppy. But the fact that it isn't exactly a ballad helps it be as good as it is.
12. Wait for Me - 7/10
I nearly fell asleep during this song, it is so full of the emotional and girl stuff. The low point of the album.
13. Sacrifice - 9/10
The song lacks stucture and the "Oooh" during the riff I didn't really like. But a strong Chorus and what I guess you call the verse makes this a great song.

Overall: 9/10
Overall, this song has WAY too many light songs. But the 7 songs that are fun and heavy kinda save the album from being considered a Pop album. If the album only kept, say, By the Way, All or Nothing, and Not Meant to Be, and then the rest of the songs were like the 7 I mentioned, the album would be fricking Royalty. But it still gets the "Great" score because of those great 7.

I think End of Summer is my least fave song on the album..other than that their all pretty good!!!!
