This song is easily one of the hardest songs I have ever tried to capture.

All comments and crits welcome and appreciated.

Well, I'm happy to announce that you don't sound like two cats fucking. Razzer

You remind me a lot of the Days of the New guy. (Forget his name...) There are a few small pitch issues in the song, but overall a very good cover.

One thing I'll say I don't like is how you end the 'would you even care?' parts. You go up instead of down. Also, I think you might be forcing some parts to be more growly than your voice wants them to be.

Overall though, really good. Guitar playing was right on too. You should do Burning Bright or 45. Smiler

Good on the fact that I don't sound like cats lol.

I noticed the pitch issues too. I've only been singing for about a year and it was my one and only take of the day lol. I'm leaving it alone for now, when I'm more confident in singing that style I'll go back to it. My comfort zone is ballads actually.

On the growly thing.. Not really, I hit those just like I intended. I was just messing with my voice, seeing what kind of stuff I can do. I didn't want to try and sing it just like Scott seeing as I can't hold a candle to him haha.

Thank you for your opinion!

That's awesome your recording some stuff Ralphie.

One note tho, in my head you sound absolutely nothing like Travis. I'm not meaning that as a insult, it's just that your guys' voices are very different.

Did you play guitar on that track too?

Yes, that was me on guitar. I agree that I don't sound like Travis... I can if I sing a DOTN song. I can get down in that Baritone range with a fairly similar tone... But I'm not all that comfortable that low.

I don't know why, I just hear it for some reason... Maybe it's the "accent" that you sing with? Could just be the accoustic sound.
