I know, totally random, but I'm sorting through pictures on the computer and I just couldn't resist sharing. We have the best prairie dog exhibit at our zoo, and these little guys are soooooooooo cute

But... aren't they a little overweight? Not that I'm an expert in prairie dogs at all, just saying.

I know I'm gonna get hated on by association, but my old man used to eat those. In his defense, he was as country as the day is long, and you ate what you got in those days. Y'know?

Those are the fattest prairie dogs I have ever seen.... Holy Crap!!!
