How can I find out when tickets go on sale? They aren't available for purchase yet in New Orleans and I have to have the best seats or even VIP for my children's father. He's obsessed with shinedown. Maybe he'll realize how awsome I am if I can score some tickets.

check the venue's website. for all the shows i've tried to get tickets for, i've found they usually pop up there first. or at least have a link to livenation/ticketbastard.
