District 9 came out this past friday. I was looking forward to this film more than any in the last few years. And man did it deliver. It was so original and fresh. Easily the best movie I have seen in a very very long time. I highly recommend watching this one.

Y'know I originally wanted to see it because it reminded of Halflife 2, but there's more difference than I was expecting. Not that this was a bad thing per say. The movie was enjoyable. Though the first hour or so got a little tiresome, it paid off in a big way in the end. About 40 minutes in, I actually thought about walking out. (I'm glad I didn't. As stated a second ago, the pay off was well worth it.) Great action sequences and special effects. Overall a very original story. I'd definitely recommend it. *thumbs up*

Sweet, I can most definitely trust Link's taste in movies, so I am going to go check this out this weekend.... IMAX hope hope!!!!

I thought it was a good movie...except I didn't like the whole fact that it was like a documentary..guess that's just not my type of movie. But I did like it.

WOW... It was a good movie, people went splat a lot. The documentary feel was a little weird, but at least it was humorous. There has to be a sequel to this, at least I hope...
