Les Paul died today of complications cause by pneumonia. I feel that everyone here on this forum should give a lot of respect and honor to this man today. Because, if not for him, a lot of the music you listen to right now, might not have sounded the same or ever existed. Thank you Lester for the inspiration and technology that you gave us to enhance our music experience!!!!

From Wiki:

Lester William Polsfuss, known as Les Paul (June 9, 1915 – August 13, 2009) was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which "made the sound of rock and roll possible." His many recording innovations include overdubbing, delay effects such as "sound on sound" and tape delay, phasing effects, and multitrack recording.

R.I.P.!!!!!!!

The guitar Zach is using is a Taylor. He uses Taylor solid bodies as far as I know.

I thought Taylor's only had two knobs, what he is holding looks like a Les Paul Studio Daytona Blue... The pick guard is missing, but they do have customs..... If wrong then I will delete the picture... Either way, there is no denying that the guitar was inspired by it at least Smiler

Crap, it might be a Parkwood, the knobs are not aligned like a Les Paul..... Does any know the model??

RIP Les Paul. And congrats on the signature model Zach; any word on what it's gonna look like (apart from, surely, the Mike Myers truss rod cover! Big Grin) or are we to be kept in suspense until it launches? Big Grin
