... 100 lovely Euros, I won! Yup, I wrote a poker based blog for a site I frequent and picked up the prize for blog of the month. Absolutely thrilled, as writing is somewhat of a passion.

The only thing I've won in recent years was something that I'd more earned than competed (in actual competition) for or got lucky with.... and that was Master Mason of the Year for my lodge. So that was kinda cool. I got it doing a lot of community service and other stuff. I don't know if that actually counts though since there's no real "path" you can take to get to it. It's kinda different for everyone. And there's no real competition for it because yer basically just doing it for the lodge/community itself.
I do like playing poker though. I'm just a middle of the pack kinda player. I play a bit of everything from everyone's favorite (Hold'em) to the more traditional 5 card draw/stud. I also play a bit of Hearts and Spades. So yeah, Poker's great. [edit]Congrats on the win, by the way. Good on you.[/edit]  |

Ive won, 50 on a scratch off!

Aaah, congratulations!
I never win anything... my sister always wins stuff, she's won a watch, a coffee machine and whatnot. The only thing I remember winning was a dozen of lightbulbs  I've got a simple fear, I think someone will come just to put me away, into a cage, where I never can see the sun  |

It's easy to see how you won, you certainly have a way with words. I for one always enjoy reading your posts, especially your reviews.  I won $80 in a slot machine. The only thing I had to do was put the quarter in and pull the lever  |
