I have to admit, I never heard of Shinedown until I attended Pointfest this past spring. I had very good seats. I was extremely impressed with you guys to the point of saying you are now my favorite artists.

Your lyrics are very heart felt. I really connected with your Band on such a level I never have before with a group after hearing Brent speak his heart that evening. During one of the songs the band played that night Brent went out and around back to the lawn seats, on his way back to the stage he came right to my daughter and I and stopped and posed for a picture for us. Unfortunately, it was too dark and the picture was lost and I was very disappointed for days.

Your group greatly touched my heart. Through hearing your music it inspired me to start writing lyrics again and I only hope one day they can be heard as Brent has made his stories heard across the world.

Thanks for the inspiration you have given me to grasp life and live it to its fullest extent.
