Welcome New members! Although I'm pretty new here myself :O) I've noticed something about these boards that I really like-and you guys reminded me of it. The fact that there is such a wide range in age of people who love Shinedown's music and contribute to their forums, and get along. I just think it's awesome!!! On other band's threads people tend to argue over age and I just think its rude. Anyway- just wanted to put that out there. And I have a sister who's 14 haha

So here's how I got into them. It musta been summer of 04. I was undergoing a total revamp of musical taste. Well, I heard 45 on the radio, and I thought "This band is awesome." A few months later, I was really into death metal... stayed like that for a while... And a ew months ago, I saw a topi at a forum that I go to (CC forum), a now playing thread. Well, one guy said he was playing "Burning Bright", and I checked it out... Once again, I was hooked on Shinedown. I reently bought Leave a Whisper.

And it's a good thing you all aren't judgmental about the death metal I like.

my son was so mad cause i went to see Shinedown and Seether this week and did not take him

but i did not get home till 3am

On the main forum I'm on, the youngest member is 13 and the oldest is 37.

And I agree. Age means nothing when it comes to rocking out.

That is so true, rock on! Too bad the concert was in the middle of the week so your kids couldn't go :/ But I'm sure there will be another opportunity for them! I'm going to see them next month (on a Monday) and I'm skipping my classes for that day (I'm in college) but I know it'll be worth it!
