I can spot 'em! "Fixing to" gave you away. I thought that was perfectly normal thing to say...until I encountered people from the northern area. They didn't understand what it meant and wanted me to explain!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome to the boards and thank you very much for serving our country. And I don't think that I have told anyone here yet so I'm just gonna say it here and now, I actually joined the Delayed Entry Program for the U.S. Marines over the summer, and I leave for Parris Island July 8th 2008 since I'am only 17 and still have to finish and graduate from high school.....
