I've been registered here for awhile, but haven't been around in awhile, so I thought I should re-introduce myself...

My Shinedown history:
First heard "Fly From the Inside" on EA Sports 2003 baseball game, to this day that's my favorite song. Then about 2 or 3 months later, I was listening to the radio & heard "45" for the first time (wasn't exactly huge into music before Shinedown) & the DJ said it was from Shinedown... I decided I was gunna go buy thier album & picked up LAW (still my favorite & most played CD). Then some goon stole it out of my car while I was working, so I bought the LAW edition with "Simple Man" & the alternate 45 & Burning Bright versions...
Picked up Us & Them the day it came out and although I don't think it's quite at the same level LAW was, I still love it and now I can't wait until Sound of Madness.

I've seen Shinedown live twice, once in 2006 at Snocore with Seether, Flyleaf & Halestorm, then again last year where they headlined over 2 bands I can't remember. I plan on trying to go to Rockfest in KC, MO & they said at the last show that they would come back in 2008, so I'm hoping to see 2 more shows this year....

wow, we found out about the band the EXACT same way. MVP Baseball 2003 has "Fly" and then about 3 months later i heard 45 on the radio and picked the album up the next day. welcome to the board.
