So, Shinedown is suppose to be playing at the Michigan State Fair next friday. My friend and I were planning on going, our first Shinedown concert you know. We we're pumped.
But then last night, our friend from high school died as a result of a motorcycle accident. So instead of going to the concert, we have decided to go to our high School's first home football game which will be dedicated to our friend.

Basically, I just wanted to say i'm sorry to the boys and I WILL see them the next time they come through Detroit.

I was thinking more of going to the Shinedown concert, than the game. I would hate to be in your shoes!

sorry for you loss. that was really nice of the school to dedicate a game in your friend's memory. remember your friend for all that they were and the good times you spent with them. you'll always get the chance to see the band, or any other band for that matter, another time. even if you have to travel a little to make that up.

I do suppose I got the Bad Boys of Rock to look forward in Detroit on the 7th. I know they have nothing to do with Shinedown, but why the hell is that tour called "The Bad Boys of Rock"...even though i like all the bands, they dont seem bad in anyway.

My heart goes out to you! I admire your loyalty to your friend. You made the right choice. Was your friend a Shinedown fan? I was thinking if I meet the boys before the show, maybe they would give him (her?) a dedication.

It's one of the last things as a group you'll get to do for your friend. As far as I know there are going to be other shows in the future.
