Last August (2008) you guys performed in Salt Lake City Utah. Just before your concert, my daughter went through a back surgery to fuse her entire spine and insert rods to support it.

She knew I wanted to see you guys (I am a BIG fan), but I was not going to go because she would be coming out of surgery. She kept on trying to ake me promise to go even though she was going to be in the hospital...

When she came out of anethesia, the very FIRST thing she wanted to know was if I missed the concert because of her... She was more worried about me seeing you guys than herself.

I was so moved by her, that I email the story to the local radio station (The Blaze) that was sponsoring the show and told them about what Lexi did. They loved it so much that they contacted me to make sure I was goin to the show. They also made sure my brother and I got to be up front during the show, and then you guys signed a "Get Well" CD for my daughter Lexi. One of the coolest things ever!

Well, now my ENTIRE family are Shinedown fans! So much so, that I drove my youngest daughter Shannah from Salt Lake City Utah to Clark County Washington just to come see you guys at the Stimulate This concert at the fair.

To say she LOVED it was an UNDERSTATEMENT. This was before we knew you were coming back to Utah.

Sorry for the long story...

My real question is that I was wondering if there was any way that Lexi (and the rest of my family of course)can meet you guys in person before or after the show in Salt Lake City or St George Utah in September? (My family wants REALLY to see you in St George so we can make it a family weekend away from home).

I know this is a lot to ask, but her kindness to me as her dad has really touched my life.

With all the pain and surgeries she has been through, I just wanted to try and do something special for her and the whole family, and since you guys are a part of this, I thought it would be GREAT for her to meet the band in person.

Her favorite song right now is "Save Me" If there is no way to meet with you, if "Save Me" is one of the songs you will play in Salt Lake or St George, could you dedicate it to her from her dad?
