So sorry for your loss. I have had all of people that lost thier lives on 9/11 on my mind throughout the day. you are in my thoughts as well. And yes Shinedown is totally awesome, they helped me thru some hard times. Welcome Aboard.

I went to Ground Zero I placed roses in the pit for Dennis. FDNY let me fall in to their ranks at 10 house right across the street from Ground Zero (It's so close it's almost part of it)
I then stopped in the WTC Tribut Center. I wanted to make sure they put the photo of Dennis I gave them up.
If you ever get the chance in NYC go to the Tribute Center.

Trust me I think the place is great.
I wish we didn't need it but then again I wish the towers and my brother and all the others lost that day were still here.

I got home and went right back out to local services in my town and in the town my brother and I grew up and my mom and dad still live.
They made a park for the 4 people lost from there.
I think it's time to hit the sack.

My prayers go out to each family.. I didn't know anyone who died that day but it is still a very hard day for me.. (Las Vegas lost a high school teacher on a plane that hit a tower)..

I am so glad that you found this board too. It is an honor that you shared your story with all of us. I watched the tribute on TV. I will surely go to the tribute center if I ever am in the NY area. Thanks for the link as well
