Hey, My name is Alicia and Im new to the forums.

Id always liked shinedown but didnt really get heavy into them until a couple months ago. I know FOR SHAME! But I am totally in love with Heavy Metal I really dont listen to much easier stuff (not that their soft or anything!)

Well I was studying for my ACTs and there was a lot of shit with my family goin down about this time and I was pretty stressed so something in me just said 'Hey... go listen to some shinedown' and at the time I had 1 CD with like Save Me and Burning Bright on it so I decided, alright Ill give 'em a shot. I looked up some more of their music and was like "Wow....THIS IS AMAZING!!!" It mellowed me out so much, PERFECT REMEDY!

So I added them to myspace and started reading all the stuff they do for their fans, Videos of the week, 10 questions series, randomly sending out hundreds of autographed copies of their CDs, I even heard that some chick when they had first got started got an acoustic performance at HER HOUSE! I couldnt believe it. I had never heard of any other band doing anything like that before. It was like a dream come true! The devotion was just insane. I wanted to get in on some of that love and here I am now.

I dont want to piss anyone off by not being an OG alright! Id always liked them, but it wasnt 'til now I started to love them.
