The boys will be playing for FREE at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville on August 22!!! Rev Theory will be opening for them!!! I nearly crapped myself when I saw this!!!!!!!

I heard they were supposed to play Missouri State Fair with Rev Theory but there is a presale that day (aug 21) for another venue! CONFUSED!

I saw on the Kentucky State fair site that Keith Urban was on the main stage. I didn't see anything about Shinedown? if they are for sure going to be there we want to make the 2hr. drive to see them of coarse. Any info would be helpful. thanks in advance.

It looks like there are concerts you pay for and free concerts.Shinedown are listed on the Kentucky State Fair site as playing a free concert on the 22nd Aug.........not that I'll be going over to the US to see them.....maybe next year though

i am fired up about this. 8 bucks for the admission to the fair is the only cost. I'm definitely making the 3 hour drive for this

One day and counting. All i have to do is get through work today, my excitement is hard to contain. people at work are just going to have to deal with me as i bounce off the walls all day. but they already know how i am when iam headed to a Shinedown concert so it should be cool.

Hey Shinedown, can I join the convoy!!! Going to be at the Missouri State Fair tonight, I would go to this one too!! Only a 7 hour drive from there.....

let me just say the day started off a little shaky for us, a two hour drive there and two and half hours to get off the exit. but we were not going to let that spoil our day. it rained for a short time too. anyway as soon as we got in the fair we found our other friends and got in line to go into the stadium. we wanted to be as close as possible to the stage. we actually wound up in pretty good seats.Rev Theory opened for Shinedown and we had just seen them the week before at Cruefest so we knew they were pretty good. sure enough they got the crowd pumped for Shinedown.the only thing i can say about Shinedown is they were amazing. Brent's voice sounded better than ever and the music did not drowned him out this time. as we all know Brent has a way with the crowd but last night it seemed like he really took over. the stadium was filled. not hardly an empty seat and what ever he ask the crowd to do weather it be jump or light your lighters it seemed like everyone paticipated. no one was sitting down. he came into the seats which was awesome. the songs they chose to play were a great mix of old and new. and when he sang "Call Me" it gave me chills. this will go down as one of my favorite Shinedown shows, and since this was about the fifteenth time i have seen them that's saying alot. thanks guys for an awesome show and a really fun night. iam alittle disappointed because the bus was inside the stadium and they kicked us out so we didn't get to talk to them after the show but oh well there''s always next time.

We had the same problem getting off the exit, it took us over an hour to go a half mile, there had to be about 12 lanes of traffic cutting down to 4 lanes in front of gate 1. The crowd really was great, easily the best of the 5 shows I've been to, with it being a free show, i had expected a lot of people to be there just to see a free show, but that wasn't the case at all.

of course i agree that shinedown sounded great. But i was really impressed by Rev Theory, it was my first time seeing them. Rich is an amazing front man. I have to say that my favorite moment of the night was them following Broken Bones with the chorus from Tears in Heaven. I recently had a loss in my family and through everything that happened i sort of latched on to Broken Bones, and to hear it and then having it followed by that chorus really meant a lot.

i was in 2nd row center of stage. this concert was amazing!!!! i LOVE shinedown anyways and seeing them in person is phenomonal!!! energy was so high that night. thanks to shinedown for the incredible music and for coming to louisville!!!! i love you guys! keep it up

I went to their concert at the KY State fair! And I thought it was awesome! I loved when they sang burning bright, and dedicated it to Brents grandmother. And it seemed to me like the sky started to light up a bit! maybe I just didn't notice it until then, but either way I thought it was awesome!

After being to the KY Fair a few times I knew exactly where to head to. I had an absolute blast at the show. Not only seeing the Rev Theory guys for the 2nd time in a week... but hello... Shinedown anyone?!! Love me some Shiners!

After hitting more than a few shows this summer this was a great way to end my roll. Not to mention a short 2 hour drive. LOL

We were there are well and saw them for the 7th time in a year! I was thoroughly impressed by this fact: They had played a full show the day before in MISSOURI...drove all night to Kentucky...played a KICK ASS SHOW in KY knowing they had to go BACK to St. Louis for the Pointfest the next night AND our concert was FREE! I mean come on ....WHAT A NIGHT!!!!! They gave it their all and that is why we love them so much!
