I just wanted to let everyone know that Shinedown has been invited back to Krockathon!!! Krockathon is not just a concert, but an experience!

Krockathon 10 was sick last year and Shinedown had the best crowd response from over 12,000!!! Once again I wanna hear the crowd the loudest when Shinedown get's on stage... so all of u reading this better plan on going!

Can anyone planning on attending this event recommend a hotel near the venue? I tried contacting the sponsoring radio station, but they weren't any help. I'm thinking of coming in from Chgo since the line up is too awesome to miss, but if I can't find a place to stay, I may be SOL. Any help would be appreciated!!

Weedsport DAYS INN & BEST WESTERN would be your best bet. They both jacked up the normal price about $70 more per night for the weekend. Its gonna run ya $140-160 per night.

Appreciate the info. I'll look into those places & recheck the airfare. I'd really just love to check this show out, but it's starting to look iffy. Why can't I be independently wealthy...?

It is gettin pricey... but come and have a good time, u live only once. The $30 tix are a steal!

I'll be there about 9am tailgating (Doors open @11:30am), If u come from Chicago the beers are on me. Let me kno if ur coming, and any Shinedown fans that wanna partake in some beerpong and pre-concert festivites let me know. All are Welcome!!!

Yea ill be there too i went last year and shinedown stole the show im actually a huge breaking benjamin fan and i really like both shinedown and seether so i am really pumped for this year so maybe ill see you around

Just cleared my last hurdle. Looks like I'll be able to come out & join the fun! A line up like this is NOT to be missed!! Besides, after last night's show at the HOB, I'm totally pumped up for more SD. They completely, utterly, without a doubt stole the show & kicked ass!!!!!!

wow am i late on this post, but "vamphyre" if u haven't made ur hotel reservations yet, u might wanna look into the city of auburn its like 15 mins away from the fair grounds and ur fees would be a lot cheaper!!! but CNY has the right idea those hotels are basically walking distance from teh grounds.

Also idk if u rough it our not, but there are camp grounds a few mins from the fair... thats always an option haha but glad to hear u can make the experience

Hey FeelMe, thanks for the info! I already made a reservation, but since I've ended up having to rent a car too, I might as well check Auburn. Nothing says I can't cancel my current reservation.

suppose to be a big announcemt monday that will change history!!! yada yada, that station hypes everything up, however, i did hear there is a celeberty coming... but the way i figure ALL the bands are celebertiys in my book, but well we'll have to wait till the ride at 5 to find out.

I'll be there. Every place in Auburn I checked was booked, so I'm stuck at 1 of the places by the venue with the jacked up rates. Doesn't matter, I just can't wait for the party to begin!! Hope to get to hook up with some of you from this list!

This huge announcement @5 should be interesting, the suspense is killing me!!!

what a load of crap!!!! i can't belive they hyped it up so much and all they told us was that it was sold out, thats it... but what i don't get is that they have been telling us about this "annoucment" for the past wk... but the last tix were bought today... don't get it

im street teaming w/ alantic for SD and Buckcherry, so 'll be walking around handing out SD sticker and posters along w/ BC stuff...

I have been waiting and searching to find the tickets to the event for shinedown for about 3 months now, and i finally get to the site and have it show that it's at the KRockathon, i live near Syracuse, and now it's sold out i am very upset about this and was looking forward to seeing shinedown since they are one of my new favorite bands to listen too...however i can't now because i'm SOL unless someone can help me out with 2 tickets.
