Given, I have not been to many concerts. BUT, for me, this was the best concert I have EVER been to.
I got there just after the first opening band got on stage, The Unread I believe it was. Not a bad band. Then the next band got on, Adalina's Way (Not sure if that's the exact name, couldn't hear so well when he said it). Now THEY were awesome. After they got off stage, we waited a fair bit, then Shinedown came on. OH man. Zach first came on stage, playing his guitar. The rest of the band came on, and then went right into The Sound of Madness. It was pretty epic. They played a lot of my favorite songs; Cyanide, Fly from the Inside, Devour, and my all time favorite, Call Me. I had screamed myself hoarse after the first few songs from singing along. Favorite part though, was when Brent told the people in the stands he would come get them out if he had to, and then actually did it 3 or 4 songs later. You guys have awesome stage presence. Like I said, It was a FANTASTIC concert. Only song I really wish you had played was Cry for Help. Out of your heavier songs, that is my favorite, but you did play Call Me, so I'm not really complaining. Afterwards, I had a headache, I couldn't hear, and I couldn't speak, and I loved EVERY second of it. The best $33 I ever spent. |

I also attended this madness. I really wanted to thank you guys (Shinedown) for playing and giving us a great show, it is a rare thing out here. Brent's voice was fantastic, he honestly is one of the best voices in today's rock and roll. NOT TO MENTION one of the greatest frontmen ever, the way he communicated with the audience was just unbelievable, that devil smile of his and the way he told us stories. I felt like he was the chief of a legendary tribe, and I was a child, and he was telling me the grandest of stories. And of course the band, the whole band just kicked our asses so hard. Devour was unbelievable live. My friend and I were LOSING IT somewhere in the middle of the crowd. I wish everyone was. I think the only reason there wasn't some monstrous mosh pit was the dust that chocked us all out when we tried the first couple times. Call me was a great pleasure to hear live, and also, 45 so cool to hear because everyone sang. Shinedown really, truly blew my town away last night. I'm SO GLAD I was there, I knew the show would be great, I even bought my friend a ticket so that she would not miss out. And I was so right. "Your first time seeing us, our first time seeing you..." I think the crowd was kinda dead towards the end because you really just blew us away. How many bands can you say that about? Thank you again, you guys. It was a great show.
